Resit of a January examination in June (Article 118)

“Resit examinations for course units examined during the first examination period can only be organized during the second examination period for students of the International programs and for Dutch speaking students in the Masters and Advanced Masters programs. Students who wish to make use of this regulation should inform the student secretariat before 19 March of the current academic year. A student who uses this regulation should retake all course units wherein s/he received an intolerably insufficient result in the first examination period during the second examination period.” (Faculty examination regulations, art. 118)

• A resit of a January examination ordinarily takes place in August/September.  The faculty offers the possibility to resit an examination in June, only if the student wishes so.
• The request has to be submitted prior to March 19th.
• The request is final.
• One can only resit once per academic year.  Anyone who takes a resit in June cannot enroll anymore for a resit in the August/September period.
