Reprography
Photocopies can be made by those having a prepaid card available at the reception desk. The general rules for copying (parts of) books and periodicals are to be respected. Copying from books printed before 1900 is forbidden.
There are three public photocopiers on the ground flour and in the hallway of the second floor, there's a fourth copier.
Photographical reproductions and microfilms can be ordered with Luc Knapen or with the administration office.
Archives
The Archives Vaticanum II can be consulted in appointment with prof. M. Lamberigts; to consult the Archive of the Faculty, please contact prof. L. Kenis.
Catalogues
There is a main-entry card catalogue (all books up to 1995) and terminals on which the LIBIS catalogue can be consulted. There is a terminal available on each floor. For this library the LIBIS catalogue contains the description of all the books published after 1960 and a continually increasing number of books published before 1960 as well as all current periodicals.
InterLibrary Lending
Books or articles from libraries outside the KU Leuven can be requested via the Inter-Library Lending System. Further information can be obtained from the library personnel. A list of prices is to be found on this page.
Computer facilities
The consultation rooms are provided with internet connections and electric outlets for your laptop. Since fall 2006 the library has been acquiped with WiFi wireless. We kindly ask that everyone who utilises the KU Leuven network, respect the code of conduct for computer use.
