Via E-sources, KU Leuven users have access to an extended set of databases and e-journals. On this page, you can find some direct links to selected databases and e-journals relevant to theology and religious studies.
Please notice that when you are not working on a KU Leuven-internetadress, you will have to work via the proxy server to get access to all databases.

Databases

• Theological databases
  This list gives an overview of all databases relevant to theology and religious sciences. The most important available theological bibliographies are: ETL. Elenchus bibliographicus, ATLA Religion database and IxTheo.
  
  In the reading room, you can also consult stand alone databases.
• Simultaneous search in several databases
  Note: databases as ETL. Elenchus bibliographicus and IxTheo can not be included in this search and have to be consulted in their native interface. 
• Retrieve a database Note: when you're not sure about the exact database name, put an asterisk (*) after your search term (e.g. 'CAG*').

   

• Electronically archived doctoral dissertations
  Since 2006, all doctoral dissertations are also electronically archived. This search action generates a list in the LIBIS-catalogue of all these dissertations defended at the Faculty of Theology.
   
• Lirias
  Lirias is the academic bibliography and digital repository for KU Leuven research
