Responsibility, God and Society - Pre-conference

On the afternoon of Wednesday May 7, 2008 the International Conference starts with a Pre-Conference for Junior and Senior scholars. The papers focus on the relationship between responsibility, God and/or society. For instance, papers address the contribution theology could make to fostering societal responsibility, be it on a fundamental or more practical (applied) level. Other papers reflect on the challenges that the philosophy of E. Levinas presents for Christian theology and ethics.
