LEST VI - Practical Information

Submitting Your Paper for Publication


The deadline for submitting your paper for publication is 15 January 2008. Please observe that the maximum lenght of the paper is 5000 words (including footnotes). We also would like you to take note of the style sheet of the ETL series. For any questions regarding the requested style, please contact Mrs. Rita Corstjens (rita.corstjens@theo.kuleuven.be).

The selections of the papers will be made by the end of February 2008. You will receive information regarding your paper immediately when the selections have been made.

The papers can be submitted either to prof. Peter De Mey (peter.demey@theo.kuleuven.be) or to Minna Hietamäki (minna.hietamaki@helsinki.fi)

What will it cost?


Registration fee:         100 EUR
Doctoral students:      60 EUR
KU Leuven members:   Free
Conference Banquet:   60 EUR
 
All fees, including the conference banquet, are to be paid on arrival. Credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/American Express) will be accepted.

How to get here?


The conference will take place in the Faculty of Theology, located in the centre of Leuven. Leuven is located 25 km from Brussels and easily accessible. Please note that Leuven (in French: Louvain) is NOT the same town as Louvain-la-Neuve, which is situated in the French-speaking part of Belgium.
 
When arriving in Belgium by plane at Brussels Airport, information about how to travel to and from the Airport can be found on the Brussels Airport Official Website. The easiest way to travel to Leuven is by train or by taxi. 

The railway station at Brussels Airport is located in the basement (level -1) of the terminal building itself. Leuven is situated only 20 km from Brussels Airport and there are every hour two direct train connections from the Airport to Leuven. Timetable information and ticket prices for the whole of Belgium (and international trains) are available in Dutch, English, French and German on the Belgian Railways website

The conference will take place in the Faculty of Theology, located in the centre of Leuven. Leuven is located 25 km from Brussels and easily accessible. Please note that Leuven (in French: Louvain) is NOT the same town as Louvain-la-Neuve.  A number of rooms have been reserved at the following hotels in the centre of Leuven. Unless indicated, the prices include 1 night + breakfeast. When contacting these hotels, make reference to the congress "Leuven Encounters in Systematic Theology".
